The yachts are located in the beatiful city of Murter, in Marina Hramina. The 1st legs start line is from the bay of Murter and the finish line is at Murter Aquatorium. From here on the course of the Regatta is based on the wheater.

The organisers will create the next day’s track based on the weather and the condition of the crew.

There are no night legs and majority of the overnights will be in a marina.

The sailing territory can be either south Kornati including Zut, Teljascica National Park or around island Zirje, Kaprije, Zlarin and Primosten.

Here are some pictures about the Sailing area.

KORNATI NATIONAL PARK

Kornati National Park is one of the most popular place in Croatia.
On the shores in direct contact with the open sea, the waves have formed rock walls 100 meters high in several places, here the depth of the sea is similar.
Due to its indented coastline and rich marine flora and fauna, the view is breathtaking. On the shores of the islands we can also discover corals, mussels and fish in special colors, and  we can also meet dolphins in the morning.

Teljascica National Park

Telascica National Park is located right in the middle of the Adriatic Sea, at the southern end of the island of Dugi. 70 kilometers of coastline and 25 bays make diversity the gigantic metered Telascica Bay. Salt Lake Mir and the Strmac rocks are the main attractions of the  National Park.  Underground sea streams feed the lake with water. As the lake has no freshwater supply, evaporating seawater falls back into the lake and further increases the salinity of the lake. The Strmac rocks protrude from the sea with steep, almost vertical rock walls with a height of 160 meters high.

Murter – The island of pirates

It’s tiny, quiet, in a relatively secluded location, Murter is a favorite of many.
There are records of Murter Island dating back to Roman times, at that time it was called Scardon, but according to the prehistoric stone bastion on the Murterić Peninsula, people lived here as early as 3000 years ago. Murter is a real ship (s)  paradise. In all settlements we find a large port. There are 200 ports in Jezera, 500 in Murter and 200 in Betina. Wherever we go on the island, we can meet more and more beautiful yachts and sailboats. There are many small islands and bays, provided a great hiding place for pirates at the time.

Iz

The island of Iž is known for its local fishermen, potters, olive trees and typical Mediterranean vegetation. It is the only Dalmatian island that has preserved its traditional pottery to this day. Every year in May the village festival (Iška fešta) is held. The tradition of this event dates back to antiquity.
It is worth visiting the top of Korinjak Hill, as it offers stunning views of the surrounding islands.
