About the regatta and racing area

SailingPass Regatta 2026 has officially come to an end. After five days of racing, strong moments, light‑wind challenges, big smiles, and great teamwork, all crews have returned safely to the marina. The atmosphere was fantastic from the first training day to the final Gala Dinner, and every team showed dedication, fair play, and true SailingPass spirit. Thank you to all sailors, partners, and supporters for making this edition special. We already look forward to seeing you again next year. GISCAD Cruise Race: The Final Battle

The last race day of SailingPass Regatta 2026 has arrived, and the GISCAD Cruise Race delivered exactly what everyone expected — strong wind, full action, and the toughest conditions of the week.

The start was clean, but immediately the boats began to heel hard, water washing over the decks as the teams pushed for maximum speed. It was the final chance to fight, and every crew gave everything they had left.

XO Sailing Team took the spotlight today, claiming their first victory of the regatta — well deserved after a powerful performance in heavy wind.

Behind them, SP Juvenis made an impressive comeback to secure second place, followed by SeaFury in third.

A spectacular final race, full of speed, spray, and determination.

Congratulations to all teams for an amazing finish to the 2026 edition.

Race Types & Format

Winners will be announced in each category, as well as overall.

Sprint

A shorter course featuring both upwind and downwind sailing sections. The course may consist of one or two full laps depending on weather and sea state.

A medium-length coastal race between islands, designed for scenic, tactical sailing with variable wind conditions.
